I just wanted to write a quick post on some exciting columns that will be published this month, April 2008.
First, we have an exciting three part series by Warren Axelrod focusing on the concept of change and how change relates to information security. Great stuff. These will be published on Monday for the next three weeks.
I’d like to welcome Patrick Foley as one of our columnists. His first post will be on building an Access Review Compliance Framework.
Sam Dekay has a fascinating column on whether or not security awareness actually works. He derives his conclusions from some experimental research with which he is familiar.
Allan Pomerantz writes more about the internal threat to your information assets with a great column entitled, “Looking Through the Wrong End of the Telescope.” This is a great read and is right on the money!
Micki Krause write on how one can assess one’s self as a CISO. She asks, “Are You a Savvy CISO?”
Russell Handorf writes about all those non-technical ways that someone can find information about your infrastructure in a piece entitled, “No Tech Hacking.”
Also, if you’re reading this post I pasted some really nasty and malicious javascript here to see if I could compromise your browser and your network… April fools!
