Security Item found on NYC Streets

I found this security badge last night on a NYC street. Accidents happen. Let’s just hope the lost badge procedure is followed (if it exists). Even though I physically possess the badge, the risk to the company still seems low.

First, I found the badge at night and given the security controls of the NYC buildings, it’d be unlikely that I’d try to immediately commit the crime without any premeditation. By the time I do my research, the badge would hopefully be invalided.

Second, I’m not an Asian woman.

Third, the market for temporarily valid, illegal physical security badges for Asian women criminals in NYC is most likely small. In addition, the time it would take me to find this market would most likely exceed the time before the badge expires.

I’ll return the badge as per the directions on the back. The face, name and company name is whited out to protect the innocent.
