My favorite example of this has to be Mike Figgis, British film director coming through LAX: "I'm here to shoot a pilot", he said. Doh! But, 6 HOURS they kept him there questioning him. Serves him right maybe, but perhaps that's why the terrorists (and WordPress founders) are getting through. You don't often hear them saying: "Yes, I'm here to intentionally cause damage to airplanes." A bit of common sense? Sadly none too common.
