Paula Abdul is the latest victim of a voice-based data leak (CNN article). This time the recording was a conference call.
One individual mocked me for my Alec Baldwin analysis by claiming:
Somewhat inspired by this novel interpretation of what constitutes a “data leak” or “breach,” I have taken the liberty of anticipating the next type of risk, based on a reported weather collection computer theft at Western Connecticut State this week
It doesn’t take much to realize that any financial / sensitive information left on voicemails or recordings between C-level executives that are leaked to the media or to untrusted parties could have consequences on the open market.
