While I’m not interested in the affair part of this Wal-Mart story. It is interesting to note that information (in the form of email) was shared between two corporations (voluntarily?).
It means that the wall of privacy separating different corporate data may not protect you just because the information was not transmitted between the two entities.
Phillippe Krakowsky, a spokesman for Interpublic, said it provided the e-mail correspondence at Wal-Mart’s request.
“That request was made and we honored it,” Krakowsky said.
